Civil War (4.00 / 2)
We have a Senator from Kentucky whose father - in - law and other in - laws can not leave Communists alone and whose Taiwanese born wife as Secretary of Labor said the the workers of the United States have hygiene problems and need anger management classes (Parade Magazine July 2007). The President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 with forethought and mallice in his heart lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so he could start a war using taxpayer funds in Iraq because Sadam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator threatened his father, George Herbert Walker Bush. Further more this same piece of roughage who was elected President for two consecutive terms again willingfully lied when he declared that the sale of Iraqi oil would pay for the rebuilding of Iraq after his war of revenge was over. This same "President" called our United States constitution a "goddamn piece of paper" and his wife traveled around the country bragging about the amount of money her husband's administration was sending to foreign countries while the economy of this country was crumbling. A record number of manufacturing jobs were exported from the United States in the years 2000 to 2009. Real income dropped and prices rose. Senator Coburn, your party is the roughage and what the roughage produces. It may be time to let the revolution begin. Not all revolutions are fought with violence. Revolutions are also fought with intellect, which the tea baggers lack.

No, no reference to the Civil War at all (4.00 / 2)
I'm going to call him out:  This is yet another veiled  - thinly veiled- attempt to remind certain of his viewers that we have a president that in which we should have no confidence at all. Why not? Just think about 150 years ago - the scary black man is in charge!

Does he think we're on the verge of a civil war? He reveals his purpose by his answer - oh no, he wasn't referring to the Civil War!  Why did he immediately refer to it, then, with his defensive comment?

This is playing the race card, without being absolutely obvious about it. It's not quite at the level of Reagan starting his presidential bid at the Neshoba County Fair in Philadelphia, Mississippi, but it's in the same ballpark. If you are listening to Glenn Beck,  you know very well what he means.  For those of us who find Beck rather revolting, why, how dare we suggest that the esteem Senator has anything like that in mind!

They are laying the groundwork for a demagogue to emerge. He might as well be showing Birth of a Nation on his website.

maybe not the Civil War but (4.00 / 2)
The Abraham Lincoln Assassination.....

I would hate to think... (4.00 / 1)
I would hate to think that this Senator is saying that there is still a feeling of hatred in this country for people of color. Perhaps he is saying this but it is shameful if indeed he is. I guess that the Senator wants to move this country back to the 1950s and 1960s again.

the Teabaggers and the rest of the right wing nut (4.00 / 2)
to many times we have seen what these nut keep saying, someone going to try

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

But then, there's one of these T-shirts that's especially notable: It was the one Timothy McVeigh was wearing when he was arrested for blowing up 168 people at the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City back in 1995.
