Business as Usual: Republicans Continue Insulting America

by: RDemocrat

As expected the Republicans in the Senate said no to those whose livelihoods they gutted when they controlled Washington. Forget the fact that men like Mitch McConnell and yes, Ben Nelson who is a Republican and should get out of our party soaked up huge salaries while soaking the middle-class with policies that decimated them while enriching Corporate fatcats and the Chinese Communists. Of course the whole Republican Party, Mitch McConnell and Ben Nelson want you to forget. What they do not want is to bear any of the responsibility of their actions both in the past and now as working Americans who paid the price from Republicans and Corporate Democrats and the robber-barons in Corporate America getting fat, crashing the economy, and getting bailed out.

Yes, while Mitch McConnell outsourced everything that wasn't bolted down to Communist China, ran up huge deficits and debts as Senate leader, and rubber-stamped the worst Administration in modern American history at least as they crashed the economy and bailed out the bankers, now suddenly when the money isn't going to him or some of the worst folks in America, folks he has long shilled for our most toothless Senator for Communist China from Kentucky is concerned about debts and deficits:

The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, has insisted that the bill not add to the deficit. Democrats complained that they had found ways to cover the entire cost of the $112 billion measure, with the exception of the $35.5 billion extension of unemployment benefits, which some Republicans said they could accept.

Luckily though after doling out hundreds of billions in Corporate Welfare and allowing a huge trade deficit with China for years, McConnell was called on his idiocy and rank hypocrisy by Debbie Stabenow:

"We don't need to be lectured by the people who created the deficits about getting out of the deficit hole," Ms. Stabenow said.

Yes, we figured McConnell out here long ago:

Republicans also showed their hypocrisy by opposing extension of tax breaks in this bill. Undoubtedly they went to working Americans and not the greediest and least patriotic among us:

The legislation would reinstate numerous expired tax breaks, as well as provided an array of safety net spending. To help cover the cost, Democrats also proposed shifting some unspent money from last year's economic stimulus program, a move that prompted Republican cheers.

In the end of course the real losers where the very folks that lost their jobs because of the ghost of failed Republican policies past:

Democrats, citing data by the National Employment Law Project, say that without Congressional action 1.2 million Americans will exhaust their jobless benefits by the end of the month.

Despite the tea-bag madness I really hope America is listening to men like Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, Rush Limbaugh and Karl Rove. They are telling you what the modern Republican Party thinks about you and the world. They think your jobs should be outsourced. They think your children should be forced to eat from dumpsters. They think bankers and Corporations and not working Americans should receive tax breaks and bailouts. They think that a business should be able to discriminate against you for nothing but the color of your skin or what you look like. They are telling you that even though they crashed your economy and outsourced your job you should get off your lazy ass and work.

Mostly, they think your tax dollars can be thrown away in Corporate Welfare, the middle-east, and Communist China but nobody in America should benefit one bit from them. If America really wants to feel angry and insulted about something that is the perfect place to start.
