Hey Democrats Do you Really Want Us F*$king Retards And Professional Left Wingers To Vote For You?

First let me say that I'm voting for Jack Conway, here in Kentucky this November, even though his silence indicates he agrees that folks like me are f*$king retards and professional left wingers. I'm voting for him, not because he failed to stand up for real Healthcare reform when he had a chance. Not because he's really tough on drugs, as he proclaims. Not because he's really a "Tough Son Of A Bitch." Not because he failed to stand up to the Tea Party Express and people like Mark Williams, and not because he wants to keep the George W. Bush tax cuts for the rich intact.
I'm going to vote for him because I believe he's just a little better, let me repeat that, just a little better, than his far right opponent Rand Paul. However, if Jack Conway wins, and I don't think he will, folks like me will be will be looking for a real Progressive to primary him in 6 years.

As far as I'm concerned there's not a dimes worth of difference between the Kentucky Democratic Party and the Kentucky Republican Party, all you have to do is look at some the candidates.
Of course there are real Progressive Candidates, here in Kentucky and I'm proud to mention the names of Jim Holbert Democratic Candidate for Kentucky's 5th Congressional District, Ed Marksberry Democratic Candidate for Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District, and John Waltz Democratic Candidate for Kentucky's 4th Congressional District. Unlike Jack Conway these guys are real Progressive grassroots candidates, but here in Kentucky that means, in my opinion, that these guys are on the Kentucky Democratic Party's Sh*t list! And let me take this one step further, it seems to me that Jack Conway is doing every thing he can to distance himself from them.

Now let's get to the national scene and read what White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has to say about Progressives:

And if that's not enough, we had to read about White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel calling Progressive folks like us “F—ing retarded.”

Another day, another disappointment for progressive Democrats. We learn from former auto-industry car czar Steve Rattner that Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel said "Fuck the UAW" during tough takeover talks – just like he called progressives "f**king retarded" for contemplating primary challenges against conservative Democrats.

If the George W. Bush White House Press Secretary or his White House Chief of Staff said these things about Progressives, we would be very upset, but when Democrats say this to us we just seem to fold. Well I'm not folding and as far as I'm concerned the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel can kiss my Progressive a**.
These are the same folks that layed down when it came to real Healthcare reform, called us "f**king retarded" and the "the professional left.'' Now they want us to stand up and vote for them. Really! Now that takes balls!

I agree with the comments here. It's a sad day when you have to vote for someone not because you believe in them but because you think they "may" be better than the competition. Conway people called today to do a survey and I told them the same thing. Conway is way too conservative for me (NRA supporter, pro-life-as if pro-choice people are for death, etc.) and doesn't reflect my values but Rand Paul is a nut!!!! I finally figured out how to post a comment!

We vote for the lesser of two evils, we are not Naderites, we are very happy with ALOT of what Barack Obama has done. I bet you $100 I can recite a longer and more accurate list of Barack Obama's accomplishments than ANY Centrist Moderate Wimp Defacto-Republican-Helping Bi-Partiasan DINO Democrat. We warned the Democrats, we pleaded with them, now it is happening just like we predicted and you are blaming us!!!! We told you exactly what to do to avoid this very situation!!!! Treat Republicans like dirt!!!! Simple, effective, impolite. Put the middle class tax cut up for a vote before the election. Tar all Republicans with the same brush. Demonize greedy rich people. Ram stuff through and exult in the whining of Consevatives. Bait the Republicans to defend their un-popular clients. Make exaggerations that force the Republicans to admit to nevertheless un-comfortable statistics. I believe in voting lesser of two evils and always will - because a dimes difference of evil is still evil - to me - I am not a Naderite - I read the .pdf of the health care bill - it's okay just maybe not strong enough to survive a repeal campaign like we warned you - if party X is going to kill 1000 people and party Y is going to kill 1001 people then that is a difference worth voting for in my opinion - in my state there is a bigger difference between a Democrat and a Republican. I am a Leftist Democrat not a Naderite and I can only contribute my one un-enthusiastic vote against the greater of two evils - I will not be enthusiastic for a team of losers - I will not volunteer and I will not donate money to a team that takes dives.
