John Boehner: Look in the Mirror

by: RDemocrat

Mon Jun 29, 2009 at 20:05:15 PM EDT

The complete and total hypocrisy of the Republicans sometimes is too much to bear. I seem to remember one party totally in power for six years that gave birth to all the failed policies that crashed our economy. That was the Republican Party with Boehner as one of it's "leaders". Now he is worried about a lot of things that used to make him happy.
RDemocrat :: John Boehner: Look in the Mirror
Boy, where do these people get this garbage, and where to begin. (Sighs) Oh well, bear with me:

"The president and Democrats in Congress claim this spending binge is necessary to put Americans back to work," House Republican leader John Boehner said Saturday in the Republican radio and Internet address. "They promised unemployment would not rise above 8 percent if their trillion-dollar stimulus was passed.

Here is the video:

Stop. Rewind. Does Boehner really want us to believe that his party under his leadership is blameless?? Clueless is more like it. I seem to remember when himself and Mitch McConnell contolled everything shamelessly rubber-stamping the Worst President Ever, they crashed the economy. We hear right-wing loons talking about Bush inheriting the "Clinton recession", but George W. Bush and his enablers like Boehner and McConnell handed Barack Obama a completely crashed Economy. Crashed by folks like Boehner, McConnell, Bush, Cheney and all the greed-meisters in the Republican Party they "lead".

As if this is not insulting enough to the intelligence of free-thinking Americans everywhere, he had to continue with this much more than pathetic spewing:

But our nation has lost nearly three million jobs this year. Unemployment has soared above 9 percent. And now the president admits that unemployment will soon reach double digits.

After all of this spending, after all of this borrowing from China, the Middle East, our children and our grandchildren, where are the jobs?"Where are the jobs?"

What did John Boehner expect when he allowed all his corporate enablers to raid the cookie jar and crash the whole economy with their constant greed and unethical behavior?? And just when did John Boehner become some warrior against borrowing from China?? They have been selling America to the Chinese for a long time now to exploit an oppressed people who are virtually slaves. Sometimes, even CHILDREN are driven as such. None of that mattered then as long as men like John Boehner got to pocket the money.

Now, I have been critical of President Obama on a couple of fronts. That is because I refuse to follow blindly behind anyone as the Republicans did. That is one of the most important lessons for all Americans to learn from the failed Presidency of George W. Bush.

Despite the spin of the right-wing loons and Corporate clones in the Congress like Boehner, this is STILL their mess. Nobody could have come in and cleaned up the huge mess from the greed, waste, and legacy of incompetence and corruption left behind from the failed "Contract with America" Congress and the failed Bush/Cheney Administration.

This is one issue, the economy that I must commend President Obama on. He is doing the best job possible given the scope of the problems left behind. I think given a little more time the economy will begin to recover again.

So before Boehner speaks to much he needs to remember that Barack Obama was not the one that crashed the economy. John Boehner, look in the mirror!!
