If you're a teacher, Union member or a public worker and a Southern Baptist you might want to have a little talk with your pastor and ask him if he agrees with Dr. Richard Land. If your pastor disagrees with Dr. Richard Land ask him to say it publicly. I'm sure some of you noticed when I was referring to your pastor I said him and not him or her and this is why.

Richard Land 04.04.2009: "I believe, perhaps the most dangerous long term threat to our nation's posterity is something that is not included in the budget. It's called the Employee Free Choice Act, also known as Card Check." Richard Land seems to like Fox News. Richard Land 08.13.2011: "This past week something very amazing happened in Wisconsin and if you didn't watch Fox News you would never know it. You remember all the riots in Wisconsin last year or earlier this year when they were fussing and fighting over the Governor passing a budget that reigned in outrages benefits and outrages subsidies for public employees including public teachers, in Wisconsin?" So here we have Southern Baptist Richard Land promoting Fox News and calling the Wisconsin protest riots. Does this sound like separation of Church and State to you?
If the Southern Baptist want to use their pulpits to keep the 1% happy and speak untruths about "the least of these" exercising their 1st amendment rights to protest and call them rioters that is OK with me. However the Southern Baptist should be aware their actions will be exposed just like their racist past. |
