The lack of political courage is stunning when it comes to Kentucky's state Democratic Senators. Project Vote Smart list all of these Democratic Senators and the positions they have on the issues and you're going to be surprised how may of these so called Democrats refused to provide responses to citizens on the issues. So let's just go down the list of Kentucky's Democratic State Senators and take a peek at their political courage. We will put them into two categories: eunuch's and Democrats. Democrats meaning political courage and eunuch's meaning chicken shit Democrats.
Hillbilly :: Kentucky State Democratic Senators. The Eunuchs And The Real Democrats.

Eunuchs (Chicken shit Democrats)

Senator Ray S. Jones II repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff.

Senator Johnny Ray Turner repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff.

Senator R.J. Palmer II refused to tell citizens where he stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.
Senator Walter 'Doc' Blevins, Jr. refused to take the political courage test.

Senator Robin L. Webb refused to tell citizens where she stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.

Senator Dennis L. Parrett refused to tell citizens where he/she stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders. Senator Dennis L. Parrett also donated $1,000 to Republican Congressman Ron Lewis.

Senator Julian M. Carroll repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff.

Senator Jerry P. Rhoads refused to tell citizens where he stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.

Senator J. Dorsey Ridley
refused to tell citizens where he stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.

Senator Walter 'Doc' Blevins, Jr. repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff.

Democrats (political courage)

Senator Perry B. Clark took the political courage test.

Senator Denise Harper Angel took the political courage test.

Senator Gerald A. Neal took the political courage test.

Senator Tim Shaughnessy took the political courage test.

Senator Kathy W. Stein took the political courage test.

Senator Joseph 'Joey' Allen Pendleton took the political courage test.

As you can see Democrats hold fifteen (15) Kentucky State Senate seats but, in my opinion only 6 of them are close to reflecting the views of the Democratic Party. Nine of them won't even discuss where they stand on the issues and one of them gave $1,000 to a Republican Congressman.

KY Democratic Party (4.00 / 2)
I'm sick to death of this BS.

The only way to re-claim the KY Democratic Party is from the ground up. We will have elections for the Precinct Committees this Spring. The Precinct Committee Chairperson is the one who gets to vote on County leadership. It is not difficult to get elected at the Precinct level, all you have to do is get a handful of friends to show up at your polling place on the date of the Committee elections. I'm sure Jim can give us the correct date of these elections. It is my understanding that these Precinct elections happen on the same date in all 120 counties.
