| Yes, while the party continues for a very few who think this is the greatest country on earth the facts do not bear this out. Among our peer countries the United States is far from a "leader" in relative poverty rates:
Even more disgraceful, the United States is leading. We are leading our peer countries in children living in poverty:
Sadly too, it appears as if we are a leader in greed, as our taxes do less to pull our citizens out of poverty than other peer nations:
Indeed, we are leading the world in stripping Americans of their social safety net:

So, in other words if you think that poverty, child poverty and greed are good then indeed America is still a leader in the world.
