Paul Ryan Wants it Both Ways

Paul Ryan is not only a hypocrite but he expects Americans to let him have it both ways. After rubber-stamping the disastrous policies that crashed our economy Ryan had one goal. Only working Americans would pay for that fiasco. Now, he is hoping we will not see how hypocritical he really is.
RDemocrat :: Paul Ryan Wants it Both Ways
In his never-ending quest to keep folks like himself and Mitt Romney from sacrificing anything to the economy they crashed Ryan painted himself into a corner. He could not allow taxes to go up on the greediest and least patriotic among us, so he and the Prince of Orange John Boehner agreed to a deal:

The sequestration cuts of $109 billion in 2013, including $55 billion to defense, were agreed to in the 2011 Budget Control Act that raised the debt ceiling. The cuts became law after the supercommittee failed to reach a deal on deficit reduction, and will go into effect Jan. 2.

A deal that he now says he never wanted:

On CBS's "Face the Nation" Sunday, Ryan argued that his vote for the BCA was not a vote for the defense cuts under sequestration, but rather a "down payment" on deficit reduction.

"The goal was never that these defense cuts actually occur," Ryan said.

Indeed, folks like Ryan never meant to cut defense spending. Their goal? To save defense cuts and tax cuts for the wealthy by balancing the budget on you and your families' backs and place the blame for it all on the White House:

"We passed in the House a bill by cutting spending elsewhere. The Senate does nothing," he said.

Ryan again placed the blame for the sequester on the White House, accusing Obama of "putting politics ahead of national security" after a new book by Bob Woodward said that the idea for sequestration originated in the White House.

The truth of the matter is that Paul Ryan and the whole Republican Party put their own greed above everything. Our national defense, our economy, working Americans and the most vulnerable in our society. They envisioned that the debt committee would stick it to everyone but the rich just like they did.

So Paul Ryan, you can't have it both ways. You voted for sequestration now reap what you sow. Folks like you simply will never except the fact that you must help clean up you own mess one way or the other.

If Paul Ryan cannot take responsibility for his own actions maybe he should just sit down and shut the hell up.
