While doing some research I ran across Elaine Chao's Google Plus page and according to her Google Plus profile she lives in Washington, DC. Knowing full well Elaine wouldn't fib about where she lives, I decided to check it out and sure enough I found a $1,227,220 piece of property in Washington, DC. that belongs to Mitch McConnell, 217 C St NE, Washington, District of Columbia 20002 to be exact, and according to Block Shopper Elaine L. Chao was the property seller and Elaine L. Chao and Mitchell A McConnell were the buyers. Mitch McConnell paid $10,430 in property taxes on the property in 2012.

 Elaine Chao's Google Plus Profile

Elaine Chao

After finding out all of the above I was convinced that Elaine Chao's Google Plus profile was correct. She does live in Washington, DC. Problem solved, but wait that just begs for answers to more questions such as. Does Elaine Chao live in Washington, DC and vote in Kentucky? Does her spouse Senator Mitch McConnell live in Washington, DC and vote in Kentucky? Can you live in Washington DC. and serve as a Senator from Kentucky?

To tell you the truth I don't have the answers to the above questions because it seems a member of Congress and or a Senator can get away with anything. I realize Article I Section 3 of our Constitution says: "When elected, be an inhabitant of that state for which he shall be chosen" but members of Congress seem to think Article I Section 3 of our Constitution doesn't apply to them.

So before Karl Rove and Steven Law over at American Crossroads make snide remarks about Ashley Judd and Tennessee, I suggest they take a look at where Senator Mitch McConnell lives.

I would suggest that Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway take a close look at this, but I've been there and done that before and all I got was crickets.

Stay tuned we may be close to finding more Washington, DC. property with Mitch McConnell ties.
