Yes, I'm Calling Senator Mitch McConnell A Liar!

December 11, 2009
Remember when Senator Mitch McConnell stood on the Senate floor December 5, 2009 and had this and this to say about the Health Care Bill " I'm sure there are people in Kentucky for it, I have not met one." "There must be a doctor in Kentucky for this, I have not heard from one."
Today Dr. Eric Johnson and Wanda Mitchell-Smith went to Senator Mitch McConnell's office, see photos, in Louisville, Kentucky and presented his staff with  a petition with the names of 1,000-plus Kentuckians. The petition, signed by more than 1,000 Kentuckians states “Hey Mitch McConnell, I'm from Kentucky and I support health reform that gives us quality, affordable health care with the choice of a public health insurance option.”
Hillbilly :: Yes, I'm Calling Senator Mitch McConnell A Liar!

I asked Dr. Eric Johnson and Wanda Mitchell-Smith if I could go with them to present the petition, I wanted a photo of the petition being handed over, and they told me only two people at a time could go up to Senator Mitch McConnell's office. I later verified this, by phone, with a lady by the name of Audrey, in the senators office. Since I wouldn't be able to go with Dr. Eric Johnson and Wanda Mitchell-Smith, I gave my iPhone to Wanda Mitchell-Smith and asked her to shoot video of the petition transaction. The guard stopped her and said no photos or videos! See video clip below.

I simply couldn't believe what had happened and kept asking myself is this America? How is it that the Senator's office, in Jefferson County, Kentucky will allow just 2 people in at time. There are 713,877 people in Jefferson County, Kentucky! What kind of deal is this? Democracy? Really?

Senator Mitch McConnell lied on the senate floor December 5, 2009 when he said:
"I'm sure there are people in Kentucky for it, I have not met one." "There must be a doctor in Kentucky for this, I have not heard from one."
Yes I'm calling Senator Mitch McConnell a liar and I'm also requesting the United Sates Senate to reprimand him for his complete and total disregard of that great body and his constituents.
Proof of my allegation:

Hillbilly,
I have sent Mitch several e-mails proclaiming my support for affordable public healthcare. I know he got the e-mails because I get letters via United States postal service, most of which I shread without even opening them.

The reason that the security person got irrate with you and your camera is the provisions of the patriot act which I question the security guards interpretataion. He's probably just following orders. I guess that it would be a sad day in Communist China if anything were to happen to Mitch McConnell. After all it does offend Mitch McConnell if Americans have incomes and put food on their families (as in the words of George Bush).

If you ever meet Mitch McConnell face to face you need to address the Communist Chinaman properly. First, lift you fist in front of his face, then extend your center digit, and finally tell him to do to himself what husbands and wives do to each other.

Limbaugh vs. McConnell: GOP leader targeted by conservative groups
By Alexander Bolton - 12/10/09 06:00 AM ET
Rush Limbaugh and conservative interest groups are criticizing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for not putting up a strong enough fight to stop the Democratic healthcare legislation.

The conservative talk radio host has questioned McConnell's strategy a few times on his program this week, joining a chorus of growing critics who say the Senate GOP leader is aiding Democrats by allowing the chamber to debate and vote on amendments.

The groups, as well as some Senate Republicans, would prefer that McConnell raise any and all procedural hurdles to slow the healthcare debate and push it into the midterm-election year.

Aides to McConnell called Limbaugh's show to explain their tactics, but the conservative pundit did not seem to buy it.
