"Never before have so few with so much promised to take away so much from so many and then laugh their asses off as the so many with so little vote for the so few with so much." A James Pence Quote
"American Politics, a sport for the rich and enslavement for the rest of us." A James Pence Quote
When I heard Senator Mitch McConnell say the following, I just about fell out of my computer chair. Senator Mitch McConnell: "You look back at the last cycle, for example, the Senatorial Committee spent virtually nothing in Missouri when Senator Blount was winning, but if you look at the ah…. buys American Crossroads and another outside organization spent a lot in Missouri. All I'm suggesting to you is don't assume based on the Senatorial Committee's allocation of resources that that's the overall view of all of those who are aligned with us about what's winnable and what isn't."

When Senator Mitch McConnell mentions another outside organization during the interview, I believe he is speaking about the US Chamber of Commerce. That would be my guess, but don't hold your breath waiting for the right-wing media to ask him. Partial Guy Benson and Senator Mitch McConnell interview.
Guy Benson: If you look at some of the polling and you hear rumors about where the RNSC is going to be spending money and where they won't, it seems like New Mexico and Hawaii are looking kind of like long shots. I mean ah…would you dispute that? Senator Mitch McConnell: Well you're assuming the only money that will be spent will be through the NRSC. There are supportive groups on the outside that have been ah very active in all of these places and um… so the universe of support is not just confined to the Senatorial Committee.
Guy Benson: No of course, of course not but also if you have the NRSC and they've got their resources…isn't it a tell and indicator of where their looking at polls what their internals are, where they're choosing to spend money, where their choosing not to spend money, isn't that at least somewhat fair way to get a sense of how they're viewing the race?
Senator Mitch McConnell: That's one way of looking at it. Another way to look at it is there uh… those ah… entities within the Party structure and outside the Party structure….. who are interested in seeing Republicans gain the senate. You look back at the last cycle, for example, the Senatorial Committee spent virtually nothing in Missouri when Senator Blount was winning, but if you look at the ah…. buys American Crossroads and another outside organization spent a lot in Missouri. All I'm suggesting to you is don't assume based on the Senatorial Committee's allocation of resources that that's the overall view of all of those who are aligned with us about what's winnable and what isn't.
