We may not get liberty because of the Ron Paul campaign run, but it sure looks like Ron Paul campaign manager, Jesse Benton, got the big bucks.
Benton's total income from the Ron Paul Presidential Campaign and PACs, in the 2012 election cycle, is at least $586,616, EPJ has learned.
According to Open Secrets, he has been paid $322, 577 in the 2012 election cycle, by Liberty PAC. His total income directly from the Ron Paul presidential campaign 2012 is, to date, $264,039.
Benton is married to Ron Paul's granddaughter Valerie Pyeatt.
Many Ron Paul supporters have become unhappy with Benton because of his suspected contacts with the Romney campaign and his overall handling of the Ron Paul campaign. Supporters are so frustrated that they are calling for Benton to be fired. |

How concerned is Jesse that he has done wrong and that the grassroots RP people are not happy with him? It appears he wore a bullet proof to a meeting with the Maine Ron Paul displaced delegates.

Ron Paul campaign chairman Jesse Benton is going to head up the campaign of Mitch McConnell. Gee, now why did those incorrigible naysayers have so many unkind words for him?
People who said Benton was positioning himself all along for bigger things in the GOP were scoffed at. Why, Jesse has a secret plan to get Ron Paul the nomination at the last minute!
Well, now we know the real secret plan.
Ask yourself this: how much money would you have to be paid to work for an enemy of the things you’re supposed to stand for? Jesse you have zero 'political' value. You existed solely as a hindrance to the cause of liberty and possess no expertise on attaining political capital.
You and McConnell are meant for each other in the neoconservative bedroom. It would be pleasing to see the wrath of the politically awake liberty revolution rise up against you Mitch vindictively, but it's not even worth the time because you are the past, the corrupt establishment, and your professional and political future will inevitably fail of your own accord.
