"Never before have so few with so much promised to take away so much from so many and then laugh their asses off as the so many with so little vote for the so few with so much." A James Pence Quote
"American Politics, a sport for the rich and enslavement for the rest of us." A James Pence Quote
20 Kentuckians are dead due to the March 2, 2012 tornados and many more have lost their homes due to the February 29, 2012 and March 2, 2012 tornados. So what do the politicians in Elizabethtown, Kentucky do while the folks in their city and county (Hardin County) are struggling to put their lives back together after having their homes destroyed by tornados. They party with their Lincoln stove pipe hats.
I have a message for State Rep. Tim Moore, Hardin County Magistrate Dwight Morgan, Agriculture Commissioner, James Comer, Congressman Brett Guthrie and all the other politicians at that Lincoln Day Dinner: I know a tornado victim first hand and he ain't heard shit from you or any other elected official. Moral values, give me a break!!!
Tim Moore refused to tell citizens where he stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.
Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-2) held "Listening Sessions" during his 21 county "Listening" tour. To bad he let us know about these "Listening Sessions" after the "Listening Sessions" were over. Hell you can't listen if you're not invited.
Will David Lynn Williams have a Democratic primary challenger, in Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District? I hope so. If not Republican Congressman Brett Guthrie will be a very happy man. Click here and here to find out more about David Lynn Williams.
April 15, 2011 Brett Guthrie KY-2, Ed Whitfield KY-1, Geoff Davis KY-4 and Hal Rogers KY-5 all voted to end Medicare as we know it. They voted for the Radical Paul Ryan’s “Path to ProsperityPoor House” budget plan that will privatize Medicare and put Medicare recipients in the hands of the insurance companies. They voted to cut spending $4.3 trillion, mostly Medicare and Medicaid, and give their rich pals $4.2 trillion in tax cuts. Wow! Click here to see the Roll Call.
Congressman Guthrie are you aware Walmart is the largest private employer in the USA and the world and the folks working at Walmart are paying for your Cadillac Boehnercare healthcare plan, your gaudy Boehnercare salary and your great big Boehnercare pension plan with their tax dollars?

We have quite a crop of Republicans here in Kentucky. Yes, Kentucky Republicans speak of their "family values" and then vote against everything Kentucky families value. They speak of "Christian values" while they outsource our jobs to godless Communist China and greedily dole out Corporate Welfare and tax cuts for the very rich. Yes, Kentucky Republicans have long said one thing and done another. Take the deficit where as a "leader" in the Republican Party Mitch McConnell rubber-stamped the failed policies that crashed our economy, running up debt along the way to bail out the bankers, causing more debt when the bankers refused to bail out the American people.
Republicans across the country are bearing down, hoping that voting against any Democratic proposal will get them back in power this fall to complete their destruction of our country next year. They are running on a platform of hatred for the federal government and while they preach "jobs" they care nothing about saving or creating them if Democrats get credit. They hope to break any power of the federal government and leave all the responsibility on cash-strapped states. Yes, even when the benefits of federal funding come home to their states they still vote no.
In Kentucky we have some great candidates bidding to pull upsets in the Congressional races. In the Fourth we have John Waltz and in the Fifth we have Jim Holbert. In the Second Congressional District we have Ed Marksberry, no stranger to us here at Hillbilly Report, and definately a fine candidate in his own right. He is ready to go to Washington and fight to once again expand the American middle-class. Today in a press release, he Unloaded on Kentucky Republicans for their "cozy industry relationships".
Brett Guthrie rails against big spending, but when it comes to self promotion he has no problem spending our tax dollars with slick mail-outs. He also puts the fact that our tax dollars are being spent for his self promotion in fine print while putting the url to his Web-Site in large print. What a joke! This guy is nothing more than a typical politician using tax payer dollars, with deception, to promote himself! The photos of his self promoting mail-outs are after the fold.
Earlier this year, February 26, 2010 to be exact. Ed. Marksberry stood up with the workers at the Evansville, Ind. Whirlpool Plant. We here at Hillbilly Report are delighted to see Democratic candidate for Kentucky's 2nd Congressional district that actually stands with and for workers here in Kentucky.
So what's new? Hal Rogers, Ed Whitfield and Brett Guthrie showed their true colors and when they had a chance to stand up for seniors on Medicare they voted "Nay" to kill H R 4213 and allow a 21% cut in Medicare payments to physicians essentially killing Medicare as we know it. Geoff Davis was a no show and didn't even bother to vote.
