Limbaugh Has Another Oxycontin Illusion

by: RDemocrat

Tue Jul 27, 2010 at 15:49:28 PM EDT

Disclaimer: Here at Hillbilly Report, we do not condone the use of the Hillbilly Heroin. It makes you into Rush Limbaugh.

Well, the Oxymoron is at it again. Yes, the fattest, ugliest, and most drug-addicted cheerleader to ever don a mini-skirt for the greediest and least patriotic among us must be high on the Hillbilly Heroin once again. He just cannot seem to get his facts straight in his stoned-out stupor. I have been trying to show some real facts on this site lately about the real cause of America's debt and our deficits but of course after popping a few Oxys like M&Ms, Limbaugh loses all his memory.

Blame Bush?? You Bet

by: RDemocrat

Mon Jun 21, 2010 at 10:56:49 AM EDT

A lot of the Republican politicians and talking heads say it is time that we quit "blaming Bush" for the problems besetting this country. They constantly maintain how Democrats have driven the deficit to new highs. However, as always with these hypocritical Republicans the truth is far from their own twisted sense of reality. You see, far away from tea-bag wonderland here in the real world many of the problems we face were caused by the very people that rail so hard against them.

Bankers Compenstation is Business as Usual After Two Years

by: RDemocrat

Wed Jun 09, 2010 at 12:48:28 PM EDT

Remember the fine folks in the banking industry whose policies of greed and excessive executive compensation crashed our economy into a ditch?? Remember the last dying gasp of the failed Bush Administration in using your money to bail out those very bankers?? Remember how the rest of the country suffered mightily at the hands of these folks yet as they took our money, froze lending and pocketed it?? Yes, our beloved banking industry has done so much, and changed so much for this country but now they seem unwilling in participating in the very change they spurned.

Tragic Summer Awaits the Gulf Coast

by: RDemocrat

Mon May 31, 2010 at 11:20:59 AM EDT

In a continual reminder of what happens when Corporate America is allowed to run roughshod over rules and regulations set by the government the tragedy in the Gulf just continues unabated. All attempts to stem the flow of oil has failed, and now the newest attempt might cause the oil to flow faster before it is stopped. Estimates are now saying it may be until August before the flow of oil is stemmed. This means a very long summer for those on the Gulf Coast who have already suffered, and sadly it also means generational damage for the area, its industries and ecology.

Limbaugh Keeps Up "War of Words"

by: RDemocrat

Mon Apr 05, 2010 at 00:56:45 AM EDT

I wrote this diary the other day about the uproar caused by President Obama calling out the idiotic rhetoric coming from folks like Rush Limbaugh and ultimate stooge Glenn Beck. Yes, the President committed the ultimate sin of saying that being called a Nazi, a communist and the executioner of everyone's grandmother is "troublesome". Now, big mouth Oxycontin addict Rush Limbaugh has taken offense and fired off an email to Politico about the President and his agenda as it compares to what Limbaugh preaches.

Hey Rush, We Know the Feeling Too Well

by: RDemocrat

Sat Apr 03, 2010 at 21:08:37 PM EDT

As many of you probably already know, the other day President Obama was asked about some of the antics of the idiots on the far right. Led by Oxymoron Rush Limbaugh, and just plain idiotic lunatic Glenn Beck these folks have been firing up every greedy, weak-minded soul in America. Yes, the President committed a terrible sin when he said he found these folks, "troublesome".

"Turd Blossom" Spewing Lies Once More

by: RDemocrat

Fri Mar 05, 2010 at 11:38:31 AM EST

Ah Karl Rove. A liar so disgusting even his own friends dubbed him "Turd Blossom". Now, realizing he was the "architect" of one of the most dishonest, disgusting and corrupt Administrations in history he is seeking to rewrite history and diffuse he and his former boss's sorry spot in it. However, his writings on the Bush years are full of even more lies, and an assault on all of those who exposed the Bush agenda for what it really was.

Biden Admits the Obvious, Should Go Further

by: RDemocrat

Sun Feb 14, 2010 at 10:59:57 AM EST

Many of us here were opposed to the Iraq War from the start. I simply did not ever understand why being attacked by a group and leader of that group supposedly centered in Afghanistan meant that we needed to go into Iraq. Despite many long years and thousands upon thousands of lives lost, not to mention the hundreds upon hundreds of billion dollars wasted we are still mired in that country. Now, the Vice-President is admitting how much of a huge mistake it was to go into that country. However he, and the administration should take it one step further.

Spending Freeze?? Not on War

by: RDemocrat

Sun Jan 31, 2010 at 21:21:30 PM EST

At a time when Americans are suffering and jobs are scarce we are being told that we will have an across the board cut in domestic programs. At the same time we are being told that we can still afford to blow up and rebuild other countries in a continuation of the failed policies of the last Administration. Yes, when it comes to fiscal responsibility it seems that everything and everyone but war will be asked to sacrifice.

More on Jim DeMint and Republican Super-Hypocrisy

by: RDemocrat

Wed Dec 30, 2009 at 20:44:37 PM EST

The hypocrisy of the Republicans on the recent failed terrorist attack in Detroit is mind-boggling, even by their own super-high hypocrisy standards. When the Bush Administration allowed the deadliest attack ever on American soil due to rank incompetence, they were mum. Then when, just a few days later a terrorist was allowed on board a plane and was thwarted by passengers Republicans were too full of god-king worship to utter a single protest. However, when an almost identical attack to the "shoe-bomber" occurs without the incompetence and death of an event like 9-11 preceding it, they are all up in arms about "keeping our country safe".

Cheney On the Attack (Against America Again)

by: RDemocrat

Wed Dec 30, 2009 at 11:13:57 AM EST

Man, Dick Cheney is like Herpes. No matter what you do he just keeps coming back. It seems after leaving Washington D.C. in utter disgrace after allowing the worst attack in American history on her soil, failing to capture Osama bin-Laden, dropping the ball in Afghanistan, lying about Iraq to get us into a failed war there which cost trillions of dollars off the books as well as tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of lives, and allowing his greedy, fat-cat buddies to pick our economy clean crashing it, ole "Shotgun" would be wanting to hide under a rock. Of course when you have no conscience or sense of morals, why hide??

Republicans Insult the American Intelligence on Terror

by: RDemocrat

Tue Dec 29, 2009 at 02:47:15 AM EST

As soon as we learned there was a failed terror act I am sure many of us suspected that pretty soon the Republicans would be trying to score cheap political points off what had happened. Instead of being happy that the plot did indeed fail and lives were not loss, they must try and find ways to frame it to their advantage in the all too eager media. Now, I have been as disgusted as anyone with some of President Obama's leadership on Afghanistan and healthcare but I honestly believe the attacks that are coming are being made by hypocrites who have nothing else to offer.

Thank You Maurice Hinchey

by: RDemocrat

Tue Dec 01, 2009 at 18:11:42 PM EST

Many of us for a long time have believed that Osama bin-Laden was given a free pass to get away and never be caught by American forces. This was not only because of the business relationship of the Bush family with the bin-Ladens, but with Osama bin-Laden caught and brought to justice we would have had no War in Iraq, or "War on Terror" for Conservatives to steal away generations of Constitutional protections and allow their Corporate pals to fleece the American taxpayer with hundreds of billions of dollars in no-bid contracts.

Sarah Palin "Goes Rogue" with Reality

by: RDemocrat

Sat Nov 14, 2009 at 00:10:20 AM EST

Man, the Republican Party. If you want to get a good insight as to how hypocritical these folks are all you must do is look at the folks they worship. Dick Cheney can lie about wars that kill thousands and cost a trillion dollars of American treasure, as well as treasonably out a CIA agent but he is a Republican hero. Carrie Prejean can pose nude in pictures and masturbate in front of a camera for a man she is not married to but it is OK because she "loved" him and she hates gay people. Oh, but one of the best examples of Republican idiocy and hypocrisy is none other than newfound cultlike celebrity Sarah Palin.

Gingrich Shows Hypocrisy and MSA on Job Losses

by: RDemocrat

Fri Nov 13, 2009 at 16:50:23 PM EST

Newt Gingrich seems to be suffering from a mass ailment among Repubicans, Tea-baggers, and Conservatives. It is called Mass Selective Amnesia, or MSA. Yes, with all their bluster and BS they have concurred a very bad case of MSA. It is usually caused by talking about the problems that have beset our country, including the economy and the huge unemployment numbers, but also occurs when talking about debt and deficits.

Its Official: Dick Cheney was a Lying, Treasonous Coward

by: RDemocrat

Fri Oct 30, 2009 at 18:22:25 PM EDT

Dick Cheney is not only a liar but he is a criminal too. Besides lying to the country to draw them into a war that killed thousands of people and made billions of dollars for himself and his shameless cronies, he also spearheaded the outing of a covert CIA agent which in my estimation is equivilent to treason. Then, to compound this he showed his utter cowardice by allowing his underling, Scooter Libby to take the fall for his crime.

Who Tripled the Debt??

by: RDemocrat

Fri Oct 09, 2009 at 17:57:34 PM EDT

You know, President Obama has disappointed me in a few regards. First, backtracking on single-payer and then placing mandates over a public option in the healthcare debate. His policies in Afghanistan also leave much to be desired for the Progressive activist who hopes to quit wasting lives and treasure in that country on a failed policy started by a failed President. However, there are instances in which we must also defend President Obama.

Obey Questions Afghanistan Direction

by: RDemocrat

Thu Oct 08, 2009 at 22:39:00 PM EDT

Many Progressives have begun to question the direction the President is going in Afghanistan. It has of course been 9 years since that conflict began and besides the countless human tragedy of deaths and injuries for American soldiers and Afghani civilians, there has been the untold cost of maintaining an American prescence in that country. Worse yet, the government propped up by the Bush Administration which the new Administration seeks to maintain appears to be a joke that is none to funny.

Don't let anyone forget

by: harrydauber

Fri Oct 02, 2009 at 17:14:02 PM EDT

(Thanks for sharing your thoughts!! - promoted by RDemocrat)

I think it is important to remind your fellow Americans in your own way how we got where we are today. It may seem obvious to many of us but with a 24 hour cable news cycle and loads of misleading bullcrap thrown around people can easily forget. I tend to prefer a rather in-your-face approach but however you do it I think that writing comments and diaries around the web refreshing folk's memories  is a good idea.

President George W. Bush gets a presidential daily briefing on August 6th 2001 "Bin Laden determined to strike in U.S." and does nothing. Sure enough, Al-Qaeda strikes in the United States on September 11, 2001. Despite lots of tough talk from the president and his knuckle-dragging Neanderthal cronies, Osama Bin Laden is never captured or killed. Instead, Bush and the chickenhawks figured we should attack Iraq because they might have weapons of mass destruction and would welcome us with flowers and candy anyway. How were Haliburton, KBR and Blackwater supposed to rake in huge profits if people were not fighting and dying in some pointless war? The sensible thing to do now, Bush thought, would be to cut taxes for wealthy Americans and corporations while fighting two wars. Are we having fun yet? While spending money like drunken sailors themselves, republicans thought the whole country should join in the fun. Go shopping! We were all proud citizens of the “Ownership Society”. Everyone was encouraged to borrow and spend money like crazy! After all, the government was doing it! Deficits are not that important! Look how good the economy is doing! In your face Clinton! Soon the moral majority was in full swing with tons of cash, disgusting video footage and photographs from places like Abu Ghraib prison, Walter Reed hospital and New Orleans. They celebrated their finest leaders like Mark Foley, Larry Craige and Ted Haggard in their very own gambling casino-madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey whorehouse-megachurch-of-America. Then it happened. Their whole phony house of cards came tumbling down just like many of us predicted it would. A horrible worldwide economic meltdown, massive deficits and debt, hundreds of thousands of innocent lives lost, countless people left bankrupt and destitute and a shattered and shameful reputation around the globe. Vote republican for competent governance, fiscal responsibility and of course, moral values!
