I wrote an angry diary some time back when it appeared that a census worker may have been murdered by anti-government zealots in my home state of Kentucky. However, now it appears as if the old saying about what "asume" does may be in order. Officials investigating the death have now concluded that instead of being murdered by anti-government zealots that Bill Sparkman may have indeed committed suicide.
I have refrained from speaking very much on the death of a census worker on the Eastern side of my state of Kentucky. Most of the reason is that I really had hoped in my heart of hearts that it was not a murder, and that someone in my state had not been such a cowardly, soulless piece of trash that had done such a horrible thing. However, now that one of the people that found the poor soul who lost his life trying to make some extra money and help his country has spoken out, there is little doubt that this man was murdered in a particularly cowardly, disgusting, and heartless manner.
