I have to admit these Right Wing e-mails are getting more complicated. However this e-mail has been proven false. My Right wing friends can click here and here to get educated and see the facts. I hope that's not asking too much.
The full text of the e-mail is after the fold. This is what Snopes has to say about the e-mail. Click here to veiw a Google search and notice all of the Right Wing sites. Click here to see a post on the Conservative site Free Republic.
I received this email January 2, 2011 and with a little bit of searching I found this at the Free Republic.
This is what Fact Check had to say about the email:
Fact Check We’re not sure why, but this false claim has been forwarded widely in recent days, judging by the number of queries we’ve received.
Snopes has this to say about the email:
Snopes Finally, the fatal flaw in the "Obama didn't go to Columbia" theory is that he couldn't have been admitted to Harvard Law School in 1988 without having received an undergraduate degree.
After the fold is a email being circulated by the Right Wing and here is what Charles Krauthammer had to say about that email:
American Experiment This account is neither accurate nor authoritative. My views on Obama are well known. I’ve explained them in a series of five columns. This email is somebody putting his own ideological stamp and spin on my views. One giveaway of the superimposition of someone else's views on mine is the rather amusing use of phrases that I never use. To take just a few examples randomly: "God forbid," "far left secular progressive," “this is the first president ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!” “no country had ever spent themselves into prosperity,” and, the real doozy,"states rights.” My views are clearly spelled out in that series of columns and subsequent writings. Anyone who wants to know my views should consult those and not this email. Charles Krauthammer
From what I can see, Conway is part of the Democratic Party establishment and as such cannot and will not do anything that isn't approved by the party leaders. And make no mistake, the Democratic party leaders are part of the problem just as the Republican party leaders are. I want a candidate who is willing to stand up to them. That's why I voted for Darlene Price. How can anybody who takes corporate/PAC donations stand up to anybody???? Darlene didn't take corporate money with those invisible strings attached.
It seems that many of those who are regular guests of this space are committed to a worldview based on some degree of reason and rationality.
That’s a handy thing if the “Covert Alarm Locator Apparatus” in your Isaac Daniel® Compass Global 1000 GPS sneakers should happen to fail and you need to find your way back to where the rest of us are; sadly, not all voters are equipped with such a helpful worldview.
Luckily for them, there are lots of conservative “mouth organs” ready to fill the “information gap”.
They send out lots of emails every day, spreading their Word, and as a public service I receive several of them; this to help keep track of just what’s out there, exactly.
If you ever wondered why otherwise normal people believe some of the craziest things about “Obama’s Secret Death Care And National Virgin Sacrifice Program”, have a look at some of the things I get every single day, and it might all make a bit more sense.
Below is a copy of a email I received entitled: (2010 Tax Returns & Gun Registration....VERY IMPORTANT READ) The email is false according to Snopes. See the Snopes screen shot after the hump. I believe this is just another example of how the right wing Tea Baggers work with their false email chains to excite their less than educated, hate Obama, rural neocon base. Reckon the NRA had something to do with this? The email reads as follows: "Guns must be listed on 2010 tax return. More good news from our beloved administration........ Now 'all Guns' must be listed on your next (2010) tax return! As if we didn't have enough to get upset about! If you have a gun, I hope it isn't registered! Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun. This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Omama staff. BUT this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama? ..... you must be kidding!"
We are coming down to the home stretch on healthcare, and we have seen the results of the first couple of rounds of crazy that have been sent forth in an effort to stop the process.
In addition to the Town Halls, opponents are flooding the email inboxes of America’s “low information” voters with no end of lies. Those emails are getting passed around and around and around, and by now some of them have probably appeared in your inbox.
But it’s summer...and who has time to respond to this stuff?
Well, guess what, Gentle Reader: I’ve already done the hard work for you.
Today’s story is an email response that you can send right back to your “inbox friends”. It’s a reminder of some of the frustrations that we all share in this country and some explanations of what’s being proposed...and a few words about socialism, to boot.
So get out there and copy and paste and forward and reply, and let’s see if we can’t fight the madness, one email at a time.
What can I say? The ugly right wing and Christianity!
Jim, Are you the filthy white bolshevik child molester who was also a serial killer suspect? You seem to fit the description. I know you believe in permitting rape, incest, murder, and are pro-abortion (after birth even) but I have also heard that you are the devil's brother. Any comments you sick perverted white piece of mother fucking shit. It is pathetic sub-human white perverted bolshevik trash like you that makes me wish that abortion had come along sooner and your parents would have opted for it. Praise the Lord and I'll continue to pray that filthy scum humans like you are aborted prior to birth. Elrey Jones (Please look me up you filthy piece of caca!)
You won't believe what you're about to read. I had no knowledge of the West Kentucky Star before I went to Paducah, Kentucky last week to see the CNN Express. When I arrived home from Paducah I found an email in my in box linking me to this West Kentucky Star article. Note that the article is a screen shot, because the article has been changed. The article said "An informational meeting will be held at 6pm Thursday, August 27, at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah." I contacted several people and we started researching Karen Farthing and Dr. Shawn Jones. We found, in our opinion, they were too biased to conduct any kind of Health Care Information meeting especially in a church. Of course this is just our opinion and it's important for our readers to know how we came to that conclusion. Karen Farthing, a reporter for WestKentuckyStar.com, claims to have studied proposed Health Care legislation and has already stated her position on it, click here to view it, if it's been taken down, click here to view a screen shot.
So you think the Blue Dog Democrats and thier Republican bedfellas are fiscally conservative? Does $187.1 million in campaign contributions from health and insurance interests sound conservative? Maybe it does to the C Street crowd, but to this dumb ass Hillbilly it sounds like a pay off to me. Reckon this bunch prayed over the definition of fiscally conservative before they took the $187.1 million? Ok enough ranting, let's get to the facts.
* Members of five committees working on health care reform legislation received $187.1 million in campaign contributions over their career from health and insurance interests
* Elected officials who voted against health reform legislation received 65% more in contributions from health and insurance interests than officials who voted for reform
* Health reform legislation is bottled up in two committees whose members have received nearly $100 million in campaign contributions from vested industries. Click hereto read the entire report.
Bill LaFrana sent us a copy of his email to the Blue Dog Democrats and one he sent to Ben Chandler. Bill has given us permission to post them. It will take thousand of emails like these to make a difference. Bill's emails are after the hump. The Blue Dog email address is BlueDog@mail.house.gov
