You know, every now and then the time comes around that you see things the way they are. We thought we had fought for and won a great victory in the last two elections. We thought we had given an inspiring Progressive new President a huge mandate and the Congress he needed to bring about real change in this country. Now, we realize we are being stabbed in the back and that many of the Democrats in office are no better than the Republican crooks that preceded them. It is time that these folks are exposed for what they are and we realize who really controls our government.

A Real Winning Democratic Strategy for 2010

One thing I keep seeing a lot about is how Democrats are going to lose in 2010. Everyone seems to be wandering what strategy they can come up with to hang onto the House and Senate. A lot of people want to predict doom and gloom for our party and they may be right. However, I believe the strategy they think we should impose misses the mark.

It appears you can teach an old dog new tricks. That is especially true if it is a Blue Dog. Despite being elected as Democrats they are learning a whole host of new tricks and are recieving a whole lot of treats. Yes, just a little green and these Blue Dogs are more than ready to roll over.

Baucus Gets Fat in Healthcare Debate

Boy it is not hard to figure out why single-payer was taken off the table. It is not hard to realize why even a Public Option is now suddenly threatened. With folks like Max Baucus being bought off daily, no wonder doing the right thing has been so hard. Come to find out, ol Max is making a bundle off the Healthcare debate and it is likely shaping the way the bill will end up looking like in that Chamber.
