As a blogger and videographer, in Kentucky, I've done my best to document the political events, in Kentucky, with photos and video, and in doing so I've had the opportunity to shoot video of overt white racist like "Imperial Wizard" Ron Edwards, Jarred Hensley Vice President of the Supreme White Alliance and, what I consider, the the more discreet racist, at Tea Party events in Kentucky.
Over the past two years I've talked to many Rand Paul supporters and found we had one thing in common and that is the dislike of what Senator Mitch McConnell represents. Now Rand Paul is in the business of doing business with Senator Mitch McConnell to the point where it will cost $2,500 just to get in the door to see Rand Paul. Now that ain't grassroots money.
It seems that Rand Paul has bought into McConnellganda , has been thoroughly McConnellized and has switched from being anti Communism to pro McConnelism and Chaoism. In other words Senator Mitch McConnell owns Rand Paul and the Kentucky Tea Party folks and they seem to be ready to dance to his, McConnell's, tune. Get out the fiddle!
In his anti-government crusade Rand Paul seeks to leave many folks behind. From the unemployed, to minorities that business owners do not like and now to Kentucky's farmers Rand Paul's heartless campaign to "starve the beast" leaves millions of people behind. Even in a farming state, Rand Paul wishes to end farm subsidies because quite frankly, he does not want Corporate America or the very wealthy to pay taxes. Over here in Western Kentucky that position would threaten many livelihoods.
Remember when Rand Paul was running in the primary?? He painted himself as an "outsider" who did not believe in "big government" and taxpayer bailouts. Since that time he has proven himself to be quite a hypocrite and a far cry from the fiscally responsible candidate he convinced his supporters he was. From crawling into bed with Mitch McConnell to raise funds, to wanting businesses to discriminate the real Rand Paul started to stand up. Now after he and McConnell enjoyed their after love-making cigarette, Rand Paul is crawling into bed with another unsavory character.
In the 29 second video below, we shot May 22, 2010, at the Kentucky GOP Unity Rally Frankfort, Kentucky, Senator Mitch McConnell refers to 2008 as 1968 about 18 seconds into the video. Reckon he was thinking of the 1968 Republican Party"s Southern Strategy, or could it be that he is a sick man like we suspected May 04, 2010?

by Berry Craig, Jul 15, 2010 Kentucky Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo (D) didn’t quite pull a “Happy” Chandler when he told the Lexington Herald-Leader he is “not taking a position” in the U.S. Senate race between fellow Democrat Jack Conway and Tea Party-backed Republican Rand Paul.
Oh, my there's trouble in the Rand Paul Campaign Camp. I guess that will leave Jesse Benton who is married to Ron Paul's granddaughter in full charge. Sounds like David Adam's was thrown under the bus to me.
Courier Press LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A key strategist behind Republican Rand Paul's political rise says he is leaving Paul's senatorial campaign to become campaign manager for a tea party-leaning gubernatorial ticket that is being formed.
See Jesse Benton being interviewed, in 2007, in the video, after the fold.

Rand Paul speaking at the Kentucky Freedom Festival July 10, 2010, in Frankfort, Kentucky. Hey Rand Paul Jack Conway ain't hard to find. He's here in Kentucky standing up for real people. This Video was shot with iPhone 4.
Rand Paul speaking at the Kentucky Freedom Festival in Frankfort, Kentucky. Looks like Rand stuck his foot in his mouth once again. This Video was shot with iPhone 4.
In his quest to keep the rich and Corporate America from paying any taxes Rand Paul continually shows us one thing. He just does not get it. Yes, because of his hatred of the federal government his "starve the beast" mentality would actually "starve Kentucky" and deny us much needed federal money. Paul's answer?? Let our cash-strapped state pay for everything itself.
