We all know how heartless and idiotic the Republican talking heads who give voice to the greediest and least patriotic among us can be. However, last week these folks proved yet again just how devoid of compassion for fellow Americans and indeed human beings they are if it means them sacrificing anything to that end. Kornblut Washington Post HONOLULU - Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was brought by ambulance to the hospital here on Wednesday after experiencing chest pains, according to a local television station. Most of the island's focus over the holidays has been on President Obama, who is vacationing with his family and a group of friends in a residential waterfront neighborhood. But Limbaugh has been staying a short distance from the Obamas, at the Kahala Hotel and Resort, according to local news accounts. The conservative radio host was spotted on a golf course next to his hotel earlier in the week. On Wednesday night, KITV reported, Limbaugh was taken in serious condition at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.
Since the ending of the year is upon us, we have decided to revisit some of the hate-filled drivel that the tea-bag masses have soaked up like gospel. It need not make any sense, or place blame where it truly belongs it just has to be directed at someone in the Democratic Party or of course poor folks who (gasps) think that the richest country in the world can afford to pay someone who works hard to support their family a wage they can actually do so with. Over the months that President Obama has been in the White House and Democrats have controlled Congress a curious thing has happened. Although every effort has been made to cater to Corporate Democrats such as the "Blue Dogs", "New Democrats", and self-serving traitors such as Joe Leiberman, somehow the lunatics in the "Tea-Bag" movement have deduced that a centrist President and a timid Congress that keeps tripping over its own feet in enacting anything Progressive is "Socialist". Led by radio talkers such as Rush Limbaugh these mind-numb zombies will believe anything.
It appears that besides being two of the most selfish of the greediest and least patriotic among us Mitch McConnell and Rush Limbaugh have a lot in common. They both share the same hypocritical, lying talking points. They both hate working Americans and try to brainwash them into opposing their own interests and in some cases succeed. They both seek to insure that the American economy is ripped apart, as long as their greedy enablers get to pick it clean and get bailed out while the average American suffers. They both seek to blame Democrats for the huge mess they are cleaning up that was made by Republicans.

Americans, while not being so sure about all the aspects of healthcare reform overwhelmingly support the Public Option. More evidence of that overwhelming support came out yesterday as I detailed in this diary . So what do the foghorns in the Conservative media do?? Do they admit that they are wrong, and that the American public wants a Public Option to compete with insurers and keep costs down??
Poor Rush Limbaugh. Maybe he should learn that if you want to spew lies and propoganda about other folks then there is a price to pay. Sure, it may make you a hero to some of the most insufferable people on earth, but everyone else cannot stand you. After over twenty years of spewing ignorance, hate and idiocy he simply refuses to admit than anyone else but himself is to blame for most of America simply loathing him.
We are used to hearing that idiots like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are lying through their teeth. In their self-agrandizing worlds they simply cannot accept the fact that sane people have long ago ceased in taking them seriously. Since they constantly want to feel more important than they are, they are always exaggerating their own impact on events. However, even by their own idiotic standards their estimates on the Washington D.C. tea party protests are past laughable.
9-11 should not be a political statement for anyone. It should be a sad day of remembrence that many people died because of hatred and incompetence. However, since the very day it occured it has constantly been used as a hammer to pound the agenda of a miguided bunch people with an unenlightened vision of the world down everyone else's throat.
Senator Kennedy's death broke the hearts of many Progressives and is firing them up to pass his life's work, Universal Healthcare. It is common sense to rename the healthcare bill after Kennedy since he has worked as hard as anyone to bring it about. However, despite that Republicans seem to be taking issue with Democrats "using" Kennedy's name to do something he wanted done.
Well, we knew it was coming. Senator Kennedy has not even been buried yet and already the right-wing media is trying to use him to drum up opposition to his life cause, Universal Healthcare in America. Not only are these attacks upon his legacy misleading they are thoroughly disgusting. Of course we have come to expect this from a group of people that have absolutely no positive vision for the future of our country and can offer up only hatred and lies in opposition to progress.
Boy, the looney-tunes in the Conservative media just cannot keep from obsessing over death. Are these people really so paranoid that they look for the Grim Reaper around every corner?? Instead of a sane debate with rational human beings Progressives in this country have been stuck arguing whether Grandma will be sent to a Concentration camp for old people, gassed and buried in a mass grave.

We knew they would fight tooth-and-nail with misleading propoganda and downright lies. Well, we have not been disappointed. They have unleashed a propoganda campaign that has fed a consistent line of lies that unfortunately many have started to believe. Lets looks at some of the Right-wing myths compared to the hard realities.
Across the lunatic wingnut airwaves this week a funny thing happened. Ronald Reagan was summoned from the dead once again. While that was not funny in itself because it is daily occurence this particular summoning was quite ironic. Having fired up the elderly in America telling them they are going to lose their coverage and face "death panels" made up of rabid Nazis, Republicans trotted out dear old Ronnie to tell all of America about the dastardly evils of Medicaire. The same Medicaire that millions of seniors now enjoy and rely on.
