"Never before have so few with so much promised to take away so much from so many and then laugh their asses off as the so many with so little vote for the so few with so much." A James Pence Quote
"American Politics, a sport for the rich and enslavement for the rest of us." A James Pence Quote
As if anything could get worse than Mitt Romney as President. Recently, Romney picked Paul Ryan as a running mate. These two are just right for each other, but unfortunately for the rest of us they would be a disaster for America. All Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan care about is keeping the good times rolling for themselves and their ilk at the expense of those who really need help. Working Americans.
Since Paul Ryan introduced his draconian "roadmap" for cleaning up the mess he and his cohorts caused on the backs of working Americans the Republican lie machine has been spinning in high gear. They have the tough propoganda sell of telling Americans that they should sacrifice anything the government does for them so the wealthy can horde more money. With their sophisticated network to do just that and many complicit Democrats they have set out to accomplish just that task. However as always in right-wing fantasy land the facts are against them.
First it was the war on the working-class that they have raged for the last thirty years. Then the War on young people who may vote in the next election. Then it was the war on the folks who were unemployed by their policies. Then it was the war on the poor. Now, Republicans are declaring war on our seniors and children. Yes, for a party so crazed by failed wars both at home and abroad the one war they continue to wage?? The War on just about all of America.
Around here we have been up in arms about Republican and some Corporate Democrats and their plans to pay off the debt they ran up on the backs of the working folks, and the most helpless of our society. They have already given themselves and their filthy rich enablers a free pass from any sacrifice, and now they will sacrifice working people, seniors, and even children to their draconian greed and idiocy. However, we can say that all we want but the proof is in the pudding.
A predictable thing is happening. After Paul Ryan has introduced his "plan" to balance the budget on the backs of seniors, children and the most unfortunate and helpless among us all while giving the wealthy a free pass the blowhards on the right-wing are touting it as "serious". Fortunately everyone is not as brainwashed as the tea-bag masses who worship greed. In fact real economists see this plan for what it is, idiocy.
