Voter turnout in last Thursday's Texas state primaries was the highest it has been in more than 20 years and what the voters of Texas had to say about the Tea Party, they said loud and crystal clear. Yet, in one more example of just how out of touch teabaggers are with reality and how impervious they are to truth and fact, the baggers have claimed victory in the Texas primaries even though every single teabagger candidate got their clocks resoundingly cleaned and their lunatic asses handed to them by the voters of Texas.
Are Democratic Blue Dogs peeking under the Tea Part tent or are they already in the tent? Could it be that the Blue Dog Democrats are Dixiecrats in disguise?
At the recent tea-bag convention Sarah Palin, whose main foreign policy experience seems to be the fact that she could see Russia from her home in Alaska, got a lot of things wrong in her speech. As the new darling of the greediest and least patriotic among us she was fast and loose with the facts. While the possible candidate for the GOP nomination passed out red-meat for the rabid masses, she seems to have left the facts somewhere frozen in the Alaskan tundra.
I went to the National Tea Party Convention, in Nashville Tennessee, and paid $368.42, including service fee and a $18.00 parking fee on top of that bringing the total to $386.42. As you can see in the photo below, this was a very conservative, or should I say skimpy meal meal with a very liberal price. Hell if these folks were running the country a "Big Mac" would cost $200.00 or more. I was so hungry after leaving the banquet I stopped by McDonnell's and got a "Big Mac" and some fries.
The so called grassroots National Tea Party Convention with, "Puttin On The Ritz"prices is being exposed for what it is. A big payday for Sarah Palin, and does anyone really believe Republican Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee will speak at this so called grassroots event for free?
Politico “I'm hearing through sources Sarah Palin is getting $75k to speak at this Tea Party convention,” blogger Dan Riehl, an admirer of Palin and of the tea partyers, wrote recently after learning that she was charging a substantial fee. That's a lot of damned tea.”
The tea-party movement has morphed from a supposed "grassroots" movement to a huge money making scam for its organizers and for Conservatives such as Sarah Palin who are scamming the weakest-minded among us to the tune of millions of dollars. One need only look at the upcoming convention in Nashville to see just how bad these folks are robbing their "supporters".
Reports yesterday detailed how Sarah Palin had been hired by Fox News as a "contributer". Of course, this is a match made in hell as both Fox News and Sarah Palin like nothing more than spreading propoganda and lies. While the brainless masses that depend on Fox as "news" will definately be pleased this dark marriage will definately produce plenty of new lies and propoganda if the past is any indication.
Courier Journal Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will speak at an inspirational Christian conference at Freedom Hall in April, her first appearance in Louisville since rocketing to political celebrity in 2008 with her unsuccessful vice presidential candidacy. “We are excited to be welcoming the Women of Joy conference to town again this year,” said Jim Fraser, 88.5 WJIE general manager. “This will be Mrs. Palin’s only appearance with the conference, and we are thrilled she chose to do it in Louisville.” Read More

By Anne E. Kornblut Washington Post HONOLULU - Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was brought by ambulance to the hospital here on Wednesday after experiencing chest pains, according to a local television station. Most of the island's focus over the holidays has been on President Obama, who is vacationing with his family and a group of friends in a residential waterfront neighborhood. But Limbaugh has been staying a short distance from the Obamas, at the Kahala Hotel and Resort, according to local news accounts. The conservative radio host was spotted on a golf course next to his hotel earlier in the week. On Wednesday night, KITV reported, Limbaugh was taken in serious condition at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.
Man, the Republican Party. If you want to get a good insight as to how hypocritical these folks are all you must do is look at the folks they worship. Dick Cheney can lie about wars that kill thousands and cost a trillion dollars of American treasure, as well as treasonably out a CIA agent but he is a Republican hero. Carrie Prejean can pose nude in pictures and masturbate in front of a camera for a man she is not married to but it is OK because she "loved" him and she hates gay people. Oh, but one of the best examples of Republican idiocy and hypocrisy is none other than newfound cultlike celebrity Sarah Palin.
The right just loves to fear the dark. After falling for the propoganda of fear constantly pushed during the George W. Bush years, it seems as if they have a new leader to whip them it to paranodic frenzy. Yes Sarah Palin, the Queen of the foolish, and of right wing loons everywhere, has struck yet again.
Doug Hoffman, the Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck candidate that didn't even live in New York's 23rd District loses to Democrat Bill Owen.
Bloomberg - With more than 90 percent of the vote counted early today, Owens led Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman 49 percent to 45 percent, according to the Associated Press. Hoffman conceded in a statement on his Web site. Read More
It appears Sarah Palin is trying to shore up her foreign policy credentials for a possible run in 2012. After dodging ethics complaints by resigning and becoming a facebook fixture, Caribou Barbie appeared in Hong Kong to speak to investors about governance and economics among many things. I guess she is ready to lay a foundation to outsource the rest of our middle-class jobs to China in case something horrible happens, like her being elected President.
