Obama Wants to Take Your Fishing Poles??

by: RDemocrat

Wed Mar 10, 2010 at 21:30:11 PM EST

Man for so many years in rural America we have heard that Democrats would take our guns, although no Democrat has taken a gun from a rural American that I know. Now, it appears as if the guns aren't all Obama and the rest of us in the "Socialist-Nazi-Communist" cabal that is trying to turn the Capital into Red Square want to seize from rural Americans. Yes, now the good ole boys had better brace for the next fight. Yes, Glenn Beck watchers now we want your fishing poles!!

"Turd Blossom" Spewing Lies Once More

by: RDemocrat

Fri Mar 05, 2010 at 11:38:31 AM EST

Ah Karl Rove. A liar so disgusting even his own friends dubbed him "Turd Blossom". Now, realizing he was the "architect" of one of the most dishonest, disgusting and corrupt Administrations in history he is seeking to rewrite history and diffuse he and his former boss's sorry spot in it. However, his writings on the Bush years are full of even more lies, and an assault on all of those who exposed the Bush agenda for what it really was.

Glenn Beck Barks Like a Dog, Licks His Own Butt

by: RDemocrat

Thu Feb 18, 2010 at 11:11:09 AM EST

While I have been disappointed by the direction of this Administration one thing remains true. When they took office our country was disasterously close to a Great Depression. A Depression wrought by the irresponsible policies of greed enacted during the Bush years of being rubber-stamped by an uncaring Republican Congress. While I personally feel the stimulus did go far enough, the Looney Tunes on the right are now deeming the whole bill a failure. Yes, talking heads like Glenn Beck may bark like a dog, but the facts show they are just licking their own butts.

Biden Admits the Obvious, Should Go Further

by: RDemocrat

Sun Feb 14, 2010 at 10:59:57 AM EST

Many of us here were opposed to the Iraq War from the start. I simply did not ever understand why being attacked by a group and leader of that group supposedly centered in Afghanistan meant that we needed to go into Iraq. Despite many long years and thousands upon thousands of lives lost, not to mention the hundreds upon hundreds of billion dollars wasted we are still mired in that country. Now, the Vice-President is admitting how much of a huge mistake it was to go into that country. However he, and the administration should take it one step further.

Sarah Palin: Failed Voice of a Disgraced Movement

by: RDemocrat

Mon Feb 08, 2010 at 12:16:17 PM EST

At the recent tea-bag convention Sarah Palin, whose main foreign policy experience seems to be the fact that she could see Russia from her home in Alaska, got a lot of things wrong in her speech. As the new darling of the greediest and least patriotic among us she was fast and loose with the facts. While the possible candidate for the GOP nomination passed out red-meat for the rabid masses, she seems to have left the facts somewhere frozen in the Alaskan tundra.

Fox News and Sarah Palin: A Match Made in Hell

by: RDemocrat

Tue Jan 12, 2010 at 16:38:23 PM EST

Reports yesterday detailed how Sarah Palin had been hired by Fox News as a "contributer". Of course, this is a match made in hell as both Fox News and Sarah Palin like nothing more than spreading propoganda and lies. While the brainless masses that depend on Fox as "news" will definately be pleased this dark marriage will definately produce plenty of new lies and propoganda if the past is any indication.

Sarah Palin "Goes Rogue" with Reality

by: RDemocrat

Sat Nov 14, 2009 at 00:10:20 AM EST

Man, the Republican Party. If you want to get a good insight as to how hypocritical these folks are all you must do is look at the folks they worship. Dick Cheney can lie about wars that kill thousands and cost a trillion dollars of American treasure, as well as treasonably out a CIA agent but he is a Republican hero. Carrie Prejean can pose nude in pictures and masturbate in front of a camera for a man she is not married to but it is OK because she "loved" him and she hates gay people. Oh, but one of the best examples of Republican idiocy and hypocrisy is none other than newfound cultlike celebrity Sarah Palin.

Right-Wing Pundits Smear Pelosi on Transparency

by: RDemocrat

Sun Nov 08, 2009 at 11:00:40 AM EST

Well, we have a healthcare bill passed in the House. While I have very mixed feelings on the bill, it is at least a step in the right direction, albeit a baby step. However, as while I wanted the bill to be stronger and fear it's fate in the "House of Lords" known as the U.S. Senate, I will not sit idly by as Conservative idiot "pundits" lie about the process which gave birth to this historical vote.

Rush Limbaugh Serves the Cheese With his Whine

by: RDemocrat

Thu Oct 15, 2009 at 18:49:43 PM EDT

Poor Rush Limbaugh. Maybe he should learn that if you want to spew lies and propoganda about other folks then there is a price to pay. Sure, it may make you a hero to some of the most insufferable people on earth, but everyone else cannot stand you. After over twenty years of spewing ignorance, hate and idiocy he simply refuses to admit than anyone else but himself is to blame for most of America simply loathing him.

Hey Sarah: Not Me!!

by: RDemocrat

Wed Sep 23, 2009 at 14:09:20 PM EDT

It appears Sarah Palin is trying to shore up her foreign policy credentials for a possible run in 2012. After dodging ethics complaints by resigning and becoming a facebook fixture, Caribou Barbie appeared in Hong Kong to speak to investors about governance and economics among many things. I guess she is ready to lay a foundation to outsource the rest of our middle-class jobs to China in case something horrible happens, like her being elected President.

Patriot Act Revisitation

by: RDemocrat

Sun Sep 20, 2009 at 20:01:27 PM EDT

Several provisions in the Patriot Act will be coming up for re-authorization this week. Now, I believe the Patriot Act was a big scam, and was pushed across on the American people to cover up for the fact that the Bush Administration was completely incompetent in the runup to 9-11. No rights needed to be stolen for them to be presented with a memo entitled "Bin-Laden Determined to Strike in the United States" a full month before that attack. Unfortunately our President at the time felt it was more important to stay on vacation.

More On Outrageously Inflated Tea-Bagger Numbers

by: RDemocrat

Mon Sep 14, 2009 at 21:37:00 PM EDT

Earlier I wrote this diary about Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh greatly exaggerating the numbers of folks that turned out at the D.C. Tea Party. Now it appears as if they are definately not alone. All across the Right-Wing Loon Machine, the two million exaggerations persisted:

McConnell: Management "Enlightened"

by: RDemocrat

Thu Sep 03, 2009 at 22:39:38 PM EDT

I am always apolegizing to the entire enlightened world for Mitch McConnell. This time I must do it because Mitch McConnell definately does not know the meaning of the word "enlightened". In a ridiculous argument against the Employee Free Choice Act McConnell once again proved that when it comes to understanding the problems that face working Americans he definately needs to brush up some on his history.

Yet Another Right-Wing Hypocrisy

by: RDemocrat

Fri Aug 28, 2009 at 00:39:03 AM EDT

Senator Kennedy's death broke the hearts of many Progressives and is firing them up to pass his life's work, Universal Healthcare. It is common sense to rename the healthcare bill after Kennedy since he has worked as hard as anyone to bring it about. However, despite that Republicans seem to be taking issue with Democrats "using" Kennedy's name to do something he wanted done.

Right-Wing Propoganda Machine Answered

by: RDemocrat

Thu Aug 27, 2009 at 21:22:59 PM EDT

Well, we knew it was coming. Senator Kennedy has not even been buried yet and already the right-wing media is trying to use him to drum up opposition to his life cause, Universal Healthcare in America. Not only are these attacks upon his legacy misleading they are thoroughly disgusting. Of course we have come to expect this from a group of people that have absolutely no positive vision for the future of our country and can offer up only hatred and lies in opposition to progress.

Specter Buys Into "Death Book" Argument on Fox News

by: RDemocrat

Thu Aug 27, 2009 at 00:08:54 AM EDT

Well, they say when in Rome do as the Romans do. Despite being a newly minted Democrat, when Arlen Specter is on Fox News he simply cannot help himself from getting back to his Republican roots. In a recent interview for Fox News, Specter actually gave credence to the idea that the Veterans Administration has a "Death Book" for Veterans.

Right-Wing Radio Hate

by: RDemocrat

Wed Aug 26, 2009 at 22:21:13 PM EDT

We have been detailing how the Right-Wing lunatic radio station in Paducah is propogandizing Western Kentucky voters by the means of a church. Our main point is that such hate-filled folks with hate-filled rhetoric have no business in a church. Well, lets listen to some of the hate played today by WKYX-WKYQ:

Whitfield Backs Away From Townhall Format

by: RDemocrat

Wed Aug 26, 2009 at 02:13:03 AM EDT

In a move that is characteristic for the Republicans in Western Kentucky, Exxon Ed Whitfield is taking the cowardly road. Instead of facing potential opponents and angry mobs bent on stifling discussion as Democrats all over country have Whitfield is hosting a "Tele Townhall" meeting. This sounds mysteriously like the "Information Meeting" that the far-right loons on the radio here will be holding in a church to propogandize Western Kentucky voters of whom many trust religous institutions.

Klingenschmitt Ads Sink the Abyss Even Lower

by: RDemocrat

Tue Aug 25, 2009 at 08:00:00 AM EDT

I wrote this diary after hearing a hate-filled misleading ad on WKYX-WKYQ. Already using a church to propogandize the masses in Western Kentucky, they had also decided to play blantantly false ads about the healthcare bill from this site. That is when I realized the people at this station would sink as low into the abyss as possible to preserve profits over people.

From Death Panels to Death Books: The Newest Lie

by: RDemocrat

Mon Aug 24, 2009 at 21:47:55 PM EDT

Boy, the looney-tunes in the Conservative media just cannot keep from obsessing over death. Are these people really so paranoid that they look for the Grim Reaper around every corner?? Instead of a sane debate with rational human beings Progressives in this country have been stuck arguing whether Grandma will be sent to a Concentration camp for old people, gassed and buried in a mass grave.
